Hello lovelies!

I originally wanted to post on Thursday about funny things that happened at work...but then I remembered that this is the internet. And whatever I put on here could come back and bite me in the ass. So, with some hesitation, I have decided to not put any personal stuff like that on my blog. Now I do have some funny stories that happened to me at work. Some are sincerely more outrageous than I could have imagined. Maybe one day I will write down some little blurbs of other peoples stories and post them on here. But for now, I am going to keep this nice and non-personal!

So with all that said, I am going to let you guys know all about my new monthly craft/planner subscription from Ink & Wink!

(Taken from the Ink & Wink Facebook page)

I just got my first one two days ago and it was really cute! It came with a bag, gel pen, some fun post its, two bookmarks, two sheets of stickers and some other stuff.
The subscription is $25.10 per month (including shipping) and is "invitation only".

Invitation only, you say?

Yeah...I thought it was weird but I think that is what was part of the draw to the subscription. People always want things that are harder to get, right? So lets make it harder to get this thing and more people will want it! SCORE! That's exactly what happened to me. HA! I heard about it and it looked cool and then I heard, "invitation only" and I was like....MUST. HAVE.IT.

To get the "invitation" you just have to go to their website and click the Get Invitation button. Simple really. I also believe that I had to like their Facebook page that is found here.

This is their website's homepage.
Click 'Get an Invitation' and you will see...

Fill out your information and follow the next directions!

In a few days, I received an email telling me that I was able to purchase the kit. To purchase the kit costs $25 (like I said before) and you have to pay by the 9 or 10th of the month to get it. Once you've paid, it will ship around the 15th of the month. I didn't get a shipping conformation but I was ok with that. I got my kit on the 20th and it came in a small white box, sealed with colorful duct tape. The contents of my box were cute!

As you can see, you do get a bunch of stuff in the kit.

The bag type thing...it came with a small wooden dowel and a small piece of twine...and I am not quite sure what to do with it! They said they will be sending out an email on how to use it or set it up. The pen writes really pretty and is gel. The stickers are a cute Kawaii type design. The stamp is cute as well...I will have to figure out a fun way to incorporate that into my planner spread.

The little kitty and leaf thing are actually adorable little post its! The notecards are nice cardstock. The yellow and blue moon thing is a book mark. The Paris page flags are cute but I probably won't be using them. There is also a small page of box stickers (not pictured). I used the stickers in my Erin Condren planner (it was a little big but I worked with it). sure what to do with it! Now onto the button thing. It came in three separate pieces. The metal parts were separate and the button was in a small baggie. When I took it out, I noticed that it had glue on it so I put the metal pieces together and placed the button on top and make it into another bookmark. I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to be used but that is how I used it!

Overall, I was satisfied with my box. I am looking forward to getting next month's kit. Here is a peek at May's kit:

I hope that this will inspire some of you to purchase with Ink & Wink for your planner!

I do have a video that goes with this blog post...I will be posting it soon and will edit the blog to include the link. So until next time!
