Hello Gorgeous!

Hello! And thank you for checking out my new blog! I am happy that you're here! While you're here, let me tell you a little about what you can expect to find here…

1. CREATIVITY! I come from a family of artistic people who all express themselves artistically in some way. My personal way to express myself is through paper crafts like scrapbooking, drawing, creating cards and invitations. I have made the decorations for my son's birthday parties for the last 5 years and have loved every minute of it! I will be showcasing my creations (and how to make them) for   you!


2. HONESTY!I am someone who believes that being honest with people is the best way to live. Some may say that I am blunt…but I prefer to be called honest. Holding back is sometimes necessary and I do respect that. But if someone is being downright nasty or rude…best believe that this Jersey girl will stand up and say something!


3. SILLINESS! If you can't laugh at yourself…who can you laugh at? (Everyone else, right?!) I love to make fun of myself and try (key word: TRY) to see the lighter side of life. Like anyone else on the planet I get mad (dare I say…pissed off?) but I am also well aware of my flaws and will apologize immediately if I hurt someone's feelings. This may sound contradictory to number 2, but being honest doesn't mean I have to be a jerk! Making people laugh makes me happy and I hope that at some point during your visits, that you can laugh at me!

4. MISTAKES! I think that mistakes are life's way of teaching us lessons and like anyone else, I make mistakes. I make lots of them. But I grow from them and use them to become a better person. The mistakes I make will often include grammar mistakes. It has been a long time since someone has corrected my grammar. So, if you're a grammar nazi, take it easy on me! Sometimes I type too fast and don't notice my mistakes!

5. RAMBLING! As we make our way further down the list, I want to be honest with you and tell you that I ramble. I digress. I can take a short story and lengthen it.  I will say silly things that have nothing to do with my point (and I knowI have a point around her somewhere…) and you may want to rip your hair out while reading what I write. Please refrain…I don't want to be the cause of anyone's hair loss!

So five seems to be the lucky number! Maybe that or I couldn't think of anything else to say! (probably the latter) Either way, we are at the end of the list. But if you have gotten this far, thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to read all of my silly ramblings about what I want to do with this blog. I am using this as a creative outlet and will try to post 2 to 3 times per week. Each time I post I will try to make it different than any previous posts. I can not promise that everything that I say will be original. Lets be serious…its 2015…original isn't easy to find anymore. But I can promise you that I will share my creativity with you (and how to make it yourself!), be honest with you, try to make you laugh and make lots of boo-boos and carry on a little too long! If these things are things that you enjoy, you've come to the right place! A mix of work and pleasure, fun and serious and something that I have been wanting to do for years…I hope you keep coming back!
